I’m excited to share with you a “curriculum” that we’ve been working on, which is based on my book Letters To Mikey, Messages of Hope and Optimism For Young Americans. We’ve named it The Fantastic Truths That Could Unite Us. It is being developed as an American civics workshop aimed at teenagers. Making a difference with these materials will require a great effort, and I can’t do it alone. I need your help.
Therefore, I’m hoping that you will check out the materials on our website. Moreover, I am inviting you to join my upcoming focus group, where we’ll discuss among other things, your reactions to the materials and how we can make an impact. It is simple to sign up. Just go here: curriculum page.
I plan on having a kick - off virtual meeting with “Focus Group 1” sometime before summer. I plan on mailing participants resources in advance, for review. This will include three - easy to read - books including mine, Letters to Mikey: Messages of Hope and Optimism for Young Americans, (which is also available as an audio book here) and two other books which convey the core concepts of the “curriculum/workshop”.
